A regional initiative that highlights and demands the rights of stateless people. It aims to abolish all discriminatory legal provisions against women’s right to pass their nationality to their children.
This initiative represents one of the issues adopted by the Warsheh Team for Advocacy and Documentation since 2017 to build a statelessness-free society where women and men have the same rights in passing nationality to their children without any conditions or constrictions.The initiative works on producing research publications addressing all perspectives of the issue of statelessness, its negative effects, and challenges, in addition to a legal and political analysis of women’s right in passing their nationality on the local and international levels, and regular reports that monitor cases of stateless people in the area
